Acure Organics Products Review

I received these products from Acure Organics to try out. As always, I am very honest when giving my reviews. I don't want y'all to go out and waste your money, especially since these products are kind of expensive. Since these products are from an organic line, they are supposed to be natural and healthier for your body. I like that. I have been trying to incorporate more healthy things into my life. BUT since this is organic and does not contain sulfates and whatnot, the shampoo ($10) does not lather all that well. I do not like that. I feel like my hair isn't getting as clean if I don't have a good lather. Also, the conditioner ($10) didn't soften my thick hair like a lot of other products I have used before has. On the plus side, these two products smell divine! But the scent isn't long lasting. I plan on purchasing my first set of clip in hair extensions within the next month so I will probably exclusively use these products on them since they are organic.

The body wash ($10) worked pretty well for me. It smelled like I was rubbing tea tree oil all over my body, but the minty scent was refreshing and went away once I dried off. It's supposed to help with body acne too. I don't really have body acne except for the occasional blemish on my chest or shoulder, so I'm not sure how well it works in that department. The Day Cream Gotu Kola Stem Cell ($19) is supposed to moisturize and "keep your skin looking young and feeling smooth." I'm only 21 years old so I don't know about the looking young part, but it is a nice moisturizer and it smells like tangerines. I don't know if it's worth $19 though, but you can be the judge of that.

If you enjoy natural products, I definitely recommend these and the Acure Organics line. Check out their website, they have lots of different goodies on there. I actually want to try out their lip products. Have you used these or other Acure Organics products? Let me know how you liked them!

Mary Kay Clearproof Acne System Review

So, I recently received the Mary Kay Clearproof Acne System from House Party to try out and review. But honestly, I would review this anyway because of my horrid experience with it.  I used the system one time and had an allergic reaction to one of the products. My face and neck are swollen, red, and extremely itchy. Needless to say, I will not continue to use this system. I do, however, have very sensitive skin so maybe the  Benzoyl Peroxide was much too harsh for me. I would suggest trying it out for yourself ( I have read many reviews where people have raved about this system) but the retail value is $45 and I would be afraid of wasting that money just to get an itchy red face. Because of it being so pricey, I will have to not recommend this system.

On the other hand, I have been using Noxzema's Triple Clean Anti-Bacterial Lathering Cleanser for the past 5 years and I must say it is the ONLY product I have ever used to get rid of my severe acne. I had such bad acne all the way up until I started using that face wash and now I only have hormonal and stress breakouts. I swear by it and it's only $5 compared to $45. So I would suggest that instead.

This is just my experience, but let me know if you have tried the Clearproof System yourself and what your results were!

Kathleen
